can anybody familiar with the tool comment on if the encryption codein borgbackup is audited or is there a tool whose encryption portion of the code is audited to ensure that there are no glaring bugs in the encryption scheme?

not really feasible for non technical folks but at that point you start to run a dns proxy in cloud with static ip and proxy all your dns requests using DoH to that IP. That would be really hard to block without blocking all outbound https

I am sure if you use DoT or DoH it's going to be very hard for ISP to block using your own DNS even if you rented a modem/router from them. It does need client-side support though.

I wonder if it makes sense in this day and age to have AEDs as part of first aid kit? There is an issue that people require adequate training to use one properly. Maybe, we could subsidize AED for people that have taken advanced CPR class W

One of the potential solutions might be to just treat youtube as a separate service i.e. create a separate account for YouTube with 2fa disabled. It’s not ideal since you need to deal with two accounts but that’s what password managers are

It does work offline. I don't remember the exact steps on how to do it. Basically, you can get an rss feed with credentials imported into podcast app of your choice and just download the episode before going offline. I prefer this appr

I wasn't able to find any integration with overdrive in Canada when I last tried the kindle. The Kobo's here do work seamlessly with overdrive but only for ebooks though, no magazines or audiobooks
