Especially in a small company, the founders are going to have a few "small pebbles" that can get stuck in the machinery. If you try to ignore/override the grinding noises, you're engine is going to blow up. As painful as it might feel now

True, the native executables are bootstrapping that jar. If you're going to download it manually, you're going to specify the jar on your classpath, use com.breve.bre.BRE as the entry point, and specify the first argument as "com.breve.core
