I'm surprised more hobbyists haven't developed public mesh networks. There are so many wireless routers and devices that this seems like a great opportunity. I would think makerspaces would be all over this idea. https:/&#

I find it really interesting Elon and Tesla PR strategy. They basically had a PR event to talk about manufacturing improvements. They didn't release a product but just a promise that they will make their cars cheaper. This is fairly

Yes that is true when you combine those 2 cities. Also known for their large interstate highway interchanges. In fact one of the newest is in North Dallas aptly named the "High Five" interchange.

I live in Texas. This assertion is true of most cities in Texas also. Houston is the largest population center in Texas with 6M+ in the city. Also Houston is a busy center for interstate and international commerce especially for trucking

Great question. Find someone in your skillset, hobby, industry or knowledge domain that has been doing it longer (preferably much longer) than you. Don't think because you are a lone wolf that there aren't others like you. They

Finding and working with mentors. Learn from their successes and mistakes. Learn and understand a niche business or industry. Gain expertise in a knowledge or industry domain. Software is just a tool that brings a means to an end.

Interesting. I like Python but don't enjoy programming in it. I find programming with R much more to my liking. I do data analysis and modeling mostly.

The banks cost of money isn't closely tied to the Fed rate. It is more tied to long term investments such as government bonds or t-bills. These have been pretty low and very low recently.

It all depends on ROI. Perhaps these small businesses will give more return if they can get seed money to get started. It's an interesting business model for sure. Similar to Lending Club but for small businesses.
