I think you are linking to a doc not quite ready for public consumption.

I would say what people usually want is "I want my playlist shuffled in a way that feels like variety". But, I don't have any data to back that up ;)

It is randomness if you are "playing N tracks in random order" and not "select the next track randomly from N choices in a loop".

I don't think mathematics is the issue here, rather problem definition. OP wants "Shuffle my playlist into a random order and then play it through" You are thinking closer to "After this song is done, choose a new song a

Oh? Outside of a developer certificate or jailbreaking, how does one sideload apps on iOS?

Yup, though we technically used RPGLE which was slightly better. It also had a "free text mode" which looked a bit more like a real language, but my coworkers were terrified of that.

You can do that in C, though. C++ was originally "C, with Classes", so OOP was the whole point of C++ existing in the first place.

I'm not so sure about that. Having local power to enforce employee protections is a huge thing. My state mandates things like paid jury duty and extra healthcare coverage, would I really want to wait until the federal government decide

What are you looking to learn more about? When I learned RPG, it was through physical audio tapes . In 2005, with broadband. I haven't come across to many good places to learn from (but I haven't really been looking, either).

Yeah, these guys didn't really know COBOL either. They used RPG (an AS/400 exclusive language).

I worked at an AS/400 shop out of college (this was in the 2000's, though). The other programmers there did NOT have a better understanding of low-level programming than me. In fact, it was hard to call them programmers at all.

I've had iPhones exclusively since the 3G, buying basically every other year. My happiness peaked with the 5. The 6 was "fine", the 7 was a downgrade, and I then I didn't like any of its replacements and finally got an X

Chrome had a nasty one back in March, so your presumption seems correct. Really, the best way to protect yourself is to use an obscure OS, or a separate machine for web browsing. Sounds paranoid, but the web is THE main attack vector these

The most egregious example of this was the old Windows connect-to-WiFi password box, which not only masked the password, but made you enter it twice . Why you had to enter it twice (when connecting, not creating the password) is totally be

You can do that in Office 365, but it's janky as hell in FireFox. If you are collaborating simultaneously it gets way worse. I didn't think to try Chrome at the time, though.

It's better to let good/great people slip away then to get a bad apple onto the team. Or worse, a mediocre one who never does anything wrong but also isn't contributing positively either.
