KP is a bit washed up at the moment, so I wouldn’t take them leading on an investment as a sign this is an obvious home run. Feels very faddy to me.

Well that’s simply not true because pressure on Gilead has already made them agree to expire their exclusive rights to manufacture in the US by 2020. It’s also not a rich vs poor country thing at all. It’s generic in almost all other parts

Wow, this is a bad take. You could literally say that about any disease. Why don’t all obese people just change their behavior and then we don’t need to worry about cheap insulin anymore! Why don’t men stop having sex with each other and th

Uh, no. Truvada is a generic drug in many countries around the world and cost maybe $10/month not $2000/month. The US just allows Gilead to profit massively from something that is generic and in the public health interest of all A

It’s crazy that a drug that prevents the spread of HIV (Truvada) is nearly $2000/month. Even if you had insurance with a high deductible plan you’d potentially need to pay $6-7k before having it covered. The government should be giving

I haven’t found many “takes” on Libra talk about Calibra, which is FB’s Libra wallet and, if this thing takes off, would likely by default be the top wallet for Libra transactions. Calibra would require full identity verification e.g. submi

If you knew you would be having a baby one year, wouldn’t it make sense to pay a higher premium for a better plan with a low or 0 deductible? Or does the math still not work out?

Literally every company has a tool like this. It’s more a question on what is a company doing to define and enforce justifiable usage among employees. At a well known “unicorn” I worked at a few years ago someone was reportedly fired for lo

It’s hard for a govt to stop bitcoin from being used for money laundering but when it’s a small number of mega corps validating transactions + the price stability and privacy features I’m wondering how exactly they will stop money launderer

The fact that interviews are so standardized in this industry is such a rarity and the pros outweigh the cons for me as someone interviewing. It means you should basically know exactly what to expect, and you have every resource, most free,

Ive only rarely had a good experience with weed and ironically have not had any since it was made recreationally available in CA. It usually just makes me feel sick or very paranoid. Probably best for my wallet.

I don’t think ketamine is considered to be addictive...not to say you can’t overdo it if you like the feeling.

Can someone explain why Beijing is so expensive as far as rents go? I’m surprised given how sprawling it is.

I dabble in small doses for the therapeutic benefits. I don’t think of them as party drugs at all. They help me think through hard problems in life.
