Indeed — just a couple lines of CSS and this page would be so much easier to read, as right now you really have to concentrate on the very act of figuring out what is on the page: Before: http://i.imgur.com/usg7GfW.png Afte

Silly question, but wouldn't putting something like Crawl-delay in the robots.txt file (somewhat) help alleviate the situation (if it is respected)? Or maybe even just block crawling of the entire site except for the homepage?

The AppleScript example feels like COBOL - in theory it's more readable, bit it ends up being that there is just far more room for error / ambiguity.

I can't tell if you're joking or not - personally, I cringed and felt like I was watching an episode of Silicon Valley for much of that video.

I really like this - I have played with FlexSlider when a responsive slider is needed, but it doesn't resize its slides as its containing element resizes. This does it in a much more elegant manner, and the touch events also feel quite

The page itself (not the slider), sets a fixed viewport, which means that a user cannot pinch/zoom the page on a tablet/phone. Here is the code: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scal

Right, but the issue is that 99 out of 100 designers will do work for you and not get paid for it, while one will. There are some good links to thoughts about speculative work here: http://www.nospec.com/articles

Are you sure? I came right into the comments and did a Command+F for "ADHD", as this is what I thought as well. Know that all types of ADHD aren't the same, and specifically that there is ADHD without the outward hyperactivit

While I like the simplicity of this, I would recommend to keep accessibility in mind: information put into a data attribute will not be accessible to screenreaders, and they would miss any information stored via this method. It may make sen

That and the landing page video — it was both cheesy, and patronizing to both musicians and their fans. And after watching it I still don't understand the "decrease price by a dollar" pricing scheme.

Not sure how well adopted it is, but Bourbon CSS's mixin for serving Hi-DPI assets includes DPI-based media queries: @media only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5), only screen and (min--moz-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5),

As someone who does a lot of work wireframing sites and is always trying to make the move from wires to HTML and CSS take less time, this looks great. Would love to see a fluid-width grid be introduced as an option down the line.

Last week (when I posted mine for sale) Gazelle.com was offering $280 for a 32GB Wifi model with moderate wear and tear. Would be interesting to know where it will end up and how much it will then be sold for in turn.

To be honest, a lot of the front-end issues are going to be tough to fix for a number of reasons. There are 50+ instances of inline CSS styling on just the home page, and the CSS is minified so it's hard to pass on changes that can be made

I feel like developers will, an addition to building "Lite" versions, will start adding text to the production description that link users back to the website where they can download a full-featured trial version.

Definitely see what you're saying. Two things: One is that it would lose the "I'm everyone" feel, as now there are identities of the authors. Second part would be that just because you would use Facebook Connect to authenticate wouldn't mea

I would love to see Retina Display picture quality on iPad, but can you imagine the resolution of that screen? Today the screen is 132 ppi - taking that up to 326 ppi would make it somewhere in the vicinity of 2528x1896. Would Safari then b
