I don’t think that’s practical at all. IMO oxlint currently only fits the niche “I’m starting a new project and I don’t want to install 100 dependencies and configure eslint”. Without ts-eslint and unicorn rules this is DOA for me otherwise

Anyone who picks and chooses from the entire list of rules is doing it wrong. Pick a config that roughly matches your ideals and just use it. On older projects you’ll have to customize it a bit, on new ones you’ll probably just adapt to it.

Tangential: Is anyone else getting burned out from having to transfer data between phones? Let me explain. I’ve been rocking the same iPhone backup since 2010 and I never lost anything… but now if I lose my phone I will lose my eSIMs, as we

I want to believe. Having an immediate upgrade path to all pictures from the past is too good an opportunity to pass up. We rarely get a free “compress losslessly” button for our archives.

> minor inconvenience Do you have software that automatically fixes this issue in all the pictures at once? Because as a non-professional I can only think of a very manual approach. On my old phone, dust made its way into one of the came

I never said they used the same password. If anything, having 4 different passwords to data you access exceptionally , you’re likely to have a bad time. Do you also store the passwords 4 times in 4 separate places?

The example in the linked blog is easy to detect, but often duplicate code exists across files, often unrelated. Just today I deleted several React components that literally only varied by name and were intentionally copy-pasted. I only rea

So, wait. The camera can fix dead pixels but only does so once a month? Dead pixels are dead easy to detect by the sensor, why don’t they do it immediately? Way to ruin a bunch of photos between cleanups…

> tagging the author Sounds like trouble to me. “Hey I rewrote what you wrote because it sucked. Got problems with that?” I suppose the best solution to this problem would be a “late review” asking for an explanation, offering a solution

The changing part is not time consuming, is having to fix the same bug over and over because you didn’t realize this same function was copy-pasted in 7 different files. It really gets worse when you realize this a year after the first bugfi

Ph-lease! You don’t need to be that damn close to “keep an eye on”, and actually I don’t think you’d really want to be that close.

In America’s “receiver pays their part” system I wouldn’t be too sure. In the rest of the world, the caller/texter pays 100% of the charge, but in the US you’re charged per text and minutes received . Once you add a “free call” entity

The only real part is that MV3 does not allow actual remote JS to be run on web pages. However you could still run it in a sandboxed iframe (not super helpful to adblockers though) https://developer.chrome.com/docs/exte

Absolutely clickbait. Nothing in the article suggests that review times are increasing, they’ve always been “from a few minutes to a few days”. Also filters do not depend on extension updates at all, they are plain text files that can be up

To be fair early JS development was full of “one weird tricks” that made code unreadable. Thankfully jslint came along and started cleaning up this sort of stuff. Now ESLint and its plugins target a lot more unreadable code, like the `no-ar

Are we looking at the same page? Where’s the contamination? It’s pure CSS applied to a basic `blockquote` element. There are no spans and no divs.
