Who needs support for archives? I don’t think they’d help in the only case I can think of: corrupted files.

I’m neither a React nor Redux developer, but I work on React codebases. The code I see for simple changes is super verbose compared to what it would look like with simple hooks. I don’t know if it’s just my coworkers that suck at it.

React is fine, but what is going on with RTK? So. Much. Boilerplate.

Sorry but that still doesn’t make sense. 2 days of Firsty are 30 days of local Indian internet. There’s no comparison.

True, but sometimes it’s not. I wanted to get a SIM card in Albania and they were charging €20 at the airport. After waiting for like 30 minutes for their slow-ass service of 2 people ahead of me, I just tapped 3 buttons and left the airpor

What do you mean you lost it? Did Google deactivate it? I also have my GV since 2010 and I haven’t connected a US number in a decade (I do have credit on it)

Not in my case. I checked a few times in the last year and it was still the best among those listed, however still not as good as my Thai SIM card with their roaming plans.

That would be me. I can change country with $60, it doesn’t mean I’m willing to pay $10/MB. I usually can get internet service for $10 or $20/month locally. If I haven’t sorted out an eSIM before landing, it means I’ll be without

You make it sound like: a. Open sourced software is immediately found and used b. Getting money from software is as easy as placing it online Neither one is true, nobody will give you money without you putting it some effort, whether it’s t

The Apple TV is an Apple product, with all the pros and cons that carries, but the Fire stick honestly feels like a low quality knockoff of a knockoff.

Anomaly or not, nobody likes to bake at 50C, so that zero line is probably ideal.

The lack of that behavior was the most annoying part of responsive design for a while. I’m glad they figured out they could just use existing attributes, such (positive) changes of behavior happen very rarely on the web.

I think this is the worst part of the event. PayPal is the most annoying service I use because it asks for 2FA for every damn action. So how could they take that action? Surely if they logged in they left breadcrumbs? The post is mildly inf

> Not all API's will understand this Who’s talking about APIs? Most jQuery users I know just use jQuery to submit forms and load some JSON, both of which are covered by fetch without altering the headers manually. What I’m saying is

You dropped about 250000 characters from the first example. Of course if you load a bunch of code beforehand your code will be marginally better. The fact is that you probably don’t need to send JSON anymore because fetch accepts the whole

It’s only simpler because you know how to use it. For most use cases fetch and async/await is just easier.

The problem is logging into your Google account without your 2FA device or phone number. The answer in all these cases is having more than one option enabled. I just recently tested my Google and Apple login simulating a loss of phone and c

1) By definition, if your 2FA device gets stolen, you’re screwed anyway. Goodbye Authenticator. At least with SMS you can get the same number by contacting your carrier. 2) Roaming. Often free to receive texts abroad. 3) True 4) True, but i

A few countries in the area have such a short length unfortunately. I’m lucky to have my European SIM card that I can top up once every 12 months. And even if they deactivate it after 13 months, I can recover it within the successive 12 mon
