You should read the biography to get some context and understanding. I'm not saying that that was wrong, or even that it actually happened, but I'd actually read it before making a comment like that.

There is a study as recent as last year http://www.avacore.com/sites/default/files/document/Kwon-Sch... . There are also a lot of sports teams using it, and it is visible often on TV.

Can't edit anymore: Since finding this I've found one more study that doesn't support the CoreControl, and I've found three that do support the CoreControl, as well as 3 redditors that have said the support it. Another thing to note is that

How important do you think the vacuum really is? Wouldn't it make sense for a DIY unit to just cool water to 10C and then to submerge your hands or feat in that? That would be a much more efficient method of heat transfer.

This isn't very encouraging.... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=CoreControl

Wow, thanks for all the feedback. It's agencies, designers, and startups. Basically we do everything from front-end to WordPress (I should probably get a new domain!). We're a premium service, yes. You want a picture of me? Or the team? You

Is that $100k in profit (or their take on the cards) or is it their total revenue?

I'd argue that you should abuse your young age for press though. Press loves a story about how a young person is succeeding, it's a USP to them. Use it whilst you can!

Only book four is on the internet as a torrent, and as an owner of the actual books, it doesn't even slightly come closer to comparing. The real books are stunning, and full of fantastic knowledge. They're works of art, and an encyclopaedia

I'm just disappointed that it's come to people posting these. It's really pathetic. HackerNews is run by people, and what the masses want will show up on the homepage, and this is what they want. Let it be, wait a day, and get over yourself

It's a HUGE powerplay, but I just don't know if it can beat the iPad. I think Amazons moving into be a serious competitor now. This product definitely cements it.

Looks like it is all coming out now. Interesting timing on Amazons part.

Why do you say that? The kids had a rough few weeks, it might of been hard, but there are a lot of things that are hard in life. I wouldn't call a tough time in school 'child abuse'.

Yes, it got to 6 when I posted this, and I decided to give it one more chance, as I honestly think it deserves a front page chance. My apologies for resubmitting.

Read through the whole article, very much worth reading! It's interesting how well this whole immersive education seems to work, but it sounds like the school employs some techniques of teaching, reviewing and involving students and teacher
