SESSION, the chat program that runs over the Oxen network (a Tor alternative) is much better to my mind. Voice, text, chat, all e2e encrypted and not requiring a phone number like Signal. https://getsession.org/

Why stay in SWIFT when it's been demonstrated that they can be cut off from global supply on the whims of the US administration? That one decision did more for the death of the American empire than any other.

I understand the impulse however the cost for submitting a patent is around the half-million US dollar mark (or so i have been told by patent lawyers) so I think improving the process and helping genuine innovations get some protection woul

Thank you for the great response. Yes, I can definitely see how mechanical or physics based patents would be beyond the AI's remit at the moment. As someone who is considering going for a software patent sometime in the near future I w

The patent system seems like it is a ripe subject for the kind of automation and disruption that we have seen lately in the legal sphere. Where you can fight your parking ticket and work within the law to defend your rights based on advice

Have you considered routing through or utilizing the Session network as well? It's an improved version of Tor and you could possibly build this into a dApp on the Oxen network (oxen.io)

Additionally, operating costs of a semi truck that's going to remote areas are incredibly huge - not only safety equipment, driver pay, but fuel costs as well - that you might be surprised how competitive airships are. Have you looked

That is the coolest thing. Reminds me of cloudscoops mining He3 from gas giants in science fiction books

by lachstar-x 5y ago
One of the issues with getting that high is that the higher you go, the less buoyancy the airships have, and you'd need bigger ships with more gas to haul the same loads. But the sky is very big, so it might just be an economics of sca

That is a great domain name! You're right about the room size, I suppose you would have to keep it either in the air or parked in nature when it's that size. Damn it, I want one even more now!

Thank you! And that would hold around 2 tonne if the weight scales up linearly, or is it cubed? Either way still cheaper than a house here in Australia

In general hydrogen is safe to use. It's only flammable when mixed with oxygen and it's 10x cheaper.

by lachstar-x 5y ago
Does it embrittle rubber or plastic balloons? Hydrogen is so cheap and easy to make, you could have a single bottle that feeds into a blimp, refilling it when enough has seeped out.

Wouldn't they just get a homeless guy to register it, and then transfer it over to them? I'm all for the intent behind your system but execution has gotta be airtight

Hello gents! I have a burning question for you - what do you think about the idea of building a small airship that can be lived and traveled in? Sort of like a tiny house or vanlife, but in the air. It's something I've always thou
