All the outcry from the studio closure may eventually turn out to be wrong. We don't know the real reasons those studios were shut down.

Many denuvo games are eventually released without denuvo and are then instantly pirated. Looks like the cost of denuvo is high enough for game publishers to stick to it just enough to reach profitability and then ditch it.

Microsoft will announce new windows version before Windows 10 reaches EOL. They know what they are doing cause otherwise they'd be losing market share.

As a casual gamer with kids I find gamepass very good value for money. New games every month keeps kids happy and I always find something I want to play when I have time to. I guess gamepass may not be ideal for hardcore gamers.

The comparison people tend to compare from their experiences are usually much cheaper models. This is the main reason they feel apple lasts longer.

If i have an app I installed once and forgot about it i probably dont need it to run in the background either. This is for those situations. Apps that I use, won't be frozen.

Samsung's Android flavour removes permissions from unused android apps automatically, and sends a notification to let you know. Close enough I guess.

If I am understanding the limitations section of the paper it seems like the 200 frames depends on the scene, it may be worse or better.

I use onedrive as it comes with office 365 family subscription (5 user license for all office apps plus 1tb onedrive storage for each user). If you use office paying another provider for storage makes no sense.

I will admit I like windows 11. After replacing the start menu with startallback everything seems to just work and let me get work done.

Are you using an insider build? It's only blocked in a pre release version. We don't know if this is a problem that will be in 24H2 final version

there are many loosely typed languages that are used professional (in addition to PHP). dynamic typing it has its pros and cons but that doesn't stop it from being used professionally.

Chat experience could be a lot better. Performance used to be way worse before switching to webview2. Call functionality is good though.

UI/UX is the achilles heel of many open source projects not backed by a business unfortunately. Gimp comes to mind, which has almost all features of its competitors but the UI will never let it grow.

Performance is no longer it's main issue. There are serious bugs that show up randomly for example sometimes you send 4 messages in a row and they arrive in reverse order. Imagine trying to explain something to someone and this happens
