Thanks for sharing this info. Too bad the milk story isn’t covered because that one bothers me most and obviously Health Canada among other countries agreed it was wrong to be putting these steroids in the cows. I’m not sure this convinced

Why is hating Monsanto stupid? Or are you just saying people bandwagon on hating them? I’ve seen a few too many documentaries on the terrible things they do in the farm industry that put consumers’ and farmers’ wellbeing at risk. Monsanto m

I worked a total of 2 years at 2 different Starbucks locations and they were continuously pushing us to be cheerful, chatty and even tried to get us to suggest pastry pairings for people's orders, which rarely went over well unless peo

Failed Solution #1 has mostly worked for me. I regularly wear a wrist guard and bought an Evoluent vertical mouse and have seen great improvements. The wrist guards actually caught on a bit at my last workplace. I think maybe people were af

I used to think ‘culture fit’ as a reason not to hire someone was nonsense, however, I left an employer not long ago after they refused to deal with someone toxic that was hurting the team attitude. It led to some massive attrition and made

As an engineer I think this is best interpreted as a recommendation to ask a lot of questions when you are given the chance. Take it as an opportunity to demonstrate a greater understanding and care for the opportunity than just the scope o

This looks pretty neat but I’m trying to understand the target market of Anvil. It seems like the intent is to target the market of people testing out ideas that need more than just a landing page with an email sign up field but the technic

Honestly, Marriott is a terrible chain with contempt for its own customers. Every time I use a Marriott (not always by choice) I’m insulted by the quality of food for the price they ask. I once got $10 ‘fresh squeezed OJ’ at breakfast befor

My personal experience with LA, currently working in Santa Monica, is that it’s a pretty laid back place with nowhere near the hustle or talent pool of SV or even Toronto’s tech community (where I’m from originally) so I’m curious how this

It’s a lot more like writing a native mobile app, that’s for sure. You manage data and state with a much more long-term mindset. A bad line of JS is equivalent to a crash if it halts the whole SPA from working and requires a refresh.

There’s a lot more I could know about the practicality of blockchain but the value of the technology is still more real than the currencies that live on it. It seems to me, in my perhaps naive opinion, that in the long run blockchain might

Am I missing something or couldn’t a big enough company just buy out 51% of the owning companies and take over/shut down IKEA? This way his family still could get a fast payout if they all work together.
