It's funny that memoization is some conceptual model for react but that's what compilers have been doing for ever and ever.

This is in no way unique to The Daily Show or The Colbert Report (both of which were on a Comedy channel, but I digress). Lots of TV news programs are attempting to curate your opinion based on carefully cherry picked nuggets of information

Cost of living in the bay area is insane right now. You won't find a single family home under 1 million dollars on the peninsula or the entire south bay with the exception of deep east san jose and east palo alto (but even that is cha

I agree with all of this, and I think megacities would be fine if the US had adequate public transit that actually goes to places where people live and work.

I really hope the economy shifts toward remote work as the standard (at least in the career tracks where it is possible). The ever increasing share of higher jobs moving to metropolitan regions will continue to make the places on this list

As to your first paragraph, many companies and founders would say the the same thing, no? "We want to change the world by doing X (through their business)". Also, what other metric for success is there in the current culture of

I don't think the article is making that point. It is illustrating how difficult it is for people to both buy and sell homes when the overall supply in some impacted areas is down. It would be interesting to see data on how many peopl
