Does Redwoodjs’ architecture solve most of this? Seems like most of the challenges are about over trusting the client and Redwood has some patterns to separate. I’ve got close to zero xp with Graphql and redwood fwiw

It’s incredible this is out already. It’s about 40% of the way to DALL-E but you can mostly tell the prompt from the image. Is there a Dall-E Ultra Max in the works?

I’ve been using https://typesense.org for the same reasons. They’re not taking investor money so I have more hopes they won’t start throwing everything behind the hosted version over timeS

Whoa. Searching a few random terms you’re hitting your goal of “serendipity” results. Can you share more about the search basics? I’m learning search now

My wife and I are heavy users of CMT. Especially the ability to add recipes to a specific day and create a unified shopping list sorted by type (produce, spices, etc). I do wish there was a more modern multi-platform alternative. CPM recent

How large is your photo library / how would you compare NextCloud photos to Apple Photos? I'm starting with testing Synology Photos which has at least basic local people tagging (a must with small kids). Feels like a big tradeoff

I’m testing how much I can move from services before switching devices and don’t have everything mapped out just yet. - cloud backups: testing iMazing Wi-Fi daily backups to NAS. Tested a clean restore to an iPad that was perfect. The daily

Ah good catch and write up. I believe you’re right and likely a matter of time for Mac. Hard to tell if this means it’s shipping with MacOS but just not enabled yet.

You can emulate the concept of flipping over / changing which apps are on the homescreen / notifications with the upcoming iOS 15 “focus” profile concept. It’s not isolating data though.

Wow, perfect timing. I’m migrating away from Algolia (using the firebase extension) to typesense next week. The extension makes this (I think) a 5 min job! If I want to start using scoped keys will the extension support that or should I jus

I like this! Simple. I have the same problem with prompts. The worst for me in the past was when I did the behavior but forgot to log it. Then I’d get the depressing “you broke the streak” prompts and give up. Worth noting the first goal

I’m doomed :) I posted on another comment but there are other more passive streaks in place too. I only have 2-3 apps on the Home Screen and a 6 app “Siri suggested” widget that cycles the apps based on how I use my phone. These means I’m t

Hi all, loving the healthy debate. Key to this process, for me, is that the habit tracking and reminders are secondary actions. No active tracking of habits, reminders only show up rarely. I’m doing the behavior without any time of prompt.

What source do you use for books and cover images? I’m building a project around book covers and currently looking at open library API. Google’s is good but the terms don’t allow charging for anything. Goodreads is deprecating theirs.
