Honesty is a very subjective experience, but for this comment I guess you are using honest as a proxy to people who didn’t cheat. Yes cheating does affect a group adversely and that is why institutions invest heavily in making risks not wor

Only to yourself, just to be clear I’m not in favour of cheating but just stating that a fact. Think of a hypothetical situation - you cheated and no one in the world knows and you also donot know, can you really prove cheating happened ? I

Hey it’s nice to see some more open source apps in this space. I am working on a similar project bangle.io [1] for the past 3 years and it shares similar ideology as yours - an open source note taking web app. What are you using to interfac

I would suggest trying out bangle.io [1] - an opens source markdown web app that is completely local and will support GitHub based syncing. [1] https://bangle.io

If you get away with cheating it’s not cheating. The real problem is whether it’s worth the risk of getting caught and/or losing an opportunity to learn something which will help you later.

I think that story in itself needs a show. In my opinion it’s better than the main storyline. The wall story has everything parent wants, going out to gather food, escaping dogs, riding mouse etc.

I have been using it to provide ability to read existing markdown notes in a users directory see [1]. So far it works great but browser support is limited to chrome and edge. [1] https://bangle.io

This is amazing for indie note taking apps like https://bangle.io . I will no longer have to tell users to switch to chrome now.

I have to say, this is a very well designed app. Since you talk about local only app , I can suggest bangle.io [1] - a local only operative note taking app. [1] https://github.com/bangle-io/bangle-io

Hey, I am working on an opensource web-based note-taking tool called Bangle.io [0]. Note-taking is a pretty crowded space with new tools showing up every other day. Bangle.io tries to stand out by allowing users to own their data and not lo

The note taking is such a crowded space that I wonder how did we get here? Is this a signal that there still is no clear winner or just that this space is easy to enter but difficult to find success ?
