I've seen them attacked for a few things which I don't see as major or as Facebook's fault and can imagine that people constantly seeing people complain about these little things will mean it detracts from the big, important

Why do they have to do the work? If someone releases a game and I play it, maybe I get a Linux-only bug where the audio sometimes becomes static-y until I reset (real world example). If I file a bug for that, they probably won't fix it

There's an outstanding issue in the github because the binary doesn't let you directly time fish functions. You can do time fish -c '[function]' but that includes the time to launch fish. This, of course, wouldn't m

'Walkability' is a concept that comes up on HN quite often. Things like awnings and doorways can make somewhere feel more comfortable to walk in and I guess that would make it feel less sketchy.

With the way it introduces Elliot Carter, then goes back to the original topic, the article is structured like the thing it's describing. Very interesting and fun to read.

Hijacking history is a pattern used by malware and trying to stop it has broken some honest websites. This happened with Flash, with Java applets, with popups. It shouldn't be a surprise. As I see it, you're considering the malwar
