So I wonder how much was that the PE didn't feel like they were getting a large enough coupon (2017-19 rates) and wanted a quicker bankruptcy to redeploy their efforts? A rational corp would have refinanced the debt at 2021 rates. htt

They don't even play it the same (as it was originally recorded) in most westernized versions. What a great song and her voice is iconic, but if you haven't seen the musical key deconstruction and commentary by Adam Neely, it&#x27

Yeah, and there are lots of smaller ones. Some in Santa Cruz (Big Creek) and Sonoma (Cazadero). It's nice be able to get local lumber and the pricing is often better. Part of the problem is that people built next to the logging areas

My most immediate though as I started reading this was... AI is like cancer. It's not one thing, it's many things, and anything that we believe will replace our brain power, or be put in charge of something large enough to be dang

I question even this case, because Pharma seem perfectly happy to push through drugs with unproven effectiveness. See the Aduhelm scandal (which has expanded to the entire Beta-Amyloid research angle). It wouldn't be so bad (see the Vi

I often remark that it's so easy to fail to replicate any moderately complex experiment, so you really have to do a great job to be sure that it's actually invalid. Whether it's the chemistry, equipment, or animals (even yeas

Just getting two that are the same kitten age (~12weeks) will have many of the same litter qualities... but if you get the runt, they will always be the runt (I think they do better as lone cats).

Because it's a lot easier to rationalize not doing your job when it is (or at least seems to be) being done OK. There's a lot of rationalizing of decisions, when you've spent your life saying you're the expert helping pe

What percentage of the diagnostic radiologists won't bother to even review the AI output? 3%, 10%, 30%? It'll increase as the AI improves. Unless the image is sent to multiple radiologists or their metrics (eg spotting AI errors)

All the medium speed stuff I see (not 64Gb Serdes or even Thunderbolt) is differential current drive/receive though they may be voltage limited on the output. Those still seem to be designed as 50ohm, but they have some fairly high res

I like Rick. At least they got that it was the original coax cables that drove it. Then once you have lots of measurement equipment and cables, it's hard to change (even SMA is 50ohm). You can still get 75ohm BNC cables (close to 77) a

Losing half their gas supply and a huge amount of electrical as well, didn't help... but England and Italy will quickly follow, France and Spain with longer delay. The failure of China reopening was also a big hit.

In this case I mostly agree, but more generally there are so many more wrong ways to do something difficult that you could have 100 failed replications and 2 reproductions and it would just mean 2 people did it right.
