A bit off topic but my ISP is a big fan of MikroTik routers. IIRC MikroTik had 1 or 2 0-days a few years back that let you get root. Sure enough my ISP decided to leave their http and WinBox (config tool) ports open to everyone downstream -

Grandfather once talked a commercial pilot into giving him a hike while traveling the USSR. Just walked on the airport field and asked while everyone else was boarding, no bribe needed lol. Got to sit in an extra crew seat. Was also around

It's basically pre-compiled instructions that you would insert, say, as data in a buffer overflow scenario. Then the program with the vuln would execute it.

Hmm... honest question, do blind people learn the shapes of letters? Surely even if blind from birth they'd at least want to touch embossed prints to feel the shape of characters? On the other hand I suppose there's not much of a

Had the opposite experience - was running a wordpress site and picked up a lesser known anti-spam plugin. AFAIK the only thing it did was run a tiny bit of obfuscated js to fill an invisible field. Never had a single spam comment again for

Comma I could forgive - it's positioned more like a toy for developers than an actual full featured product. But yeah, agree on the other points.

Haha. Can't tell if it's supposed to be sarcasm or not, but AFAIK it's the process of measurement that causes the collapse, not a consciousness.

Oddly I'd trust Google more with a self-driving car than say Uber or Tesla. Kind of glad they're making progress and expanding. The industry as a whole seems reckless to me tho.
