Exactly. Who the hell writes this? I'm 15 years old, possibly part of the "generation" this author is referring to, and I do not want my information stored on remote servers that I have to access with high-latency and low-t

To me, this feels like OS X Public Beta all over again. Aqua was polarizing and many of the changes were met with elation, hostility, or utter despair. The stability and UNIX features were welcomed but everything else was shunned. In about

Only a Donald Knuth-level computer scientist would be able to reverse engineer OS X to assembly, and try to figure out any backdoors from it.

There aren't backdoors in OS X and Windows that are specifically designed by or for the NSA, but since we can't see about half of the source (at least in OS X) then they can exploit any backdoor that may be present without our kno

Just the fact that we have to start websites like these, and march Capitol Hill to make the government realize its mistake is depressing, infuriating, and is gently, gradually tapping at a hot, steaming teapot of rage within every rational

I'm in the same minority as you, but you can't deny that iOS 7 was a necessary change, and not one just for the sake of it.

iOS 7 is in many ways a new beginning for both Apple, its users, and its developers, but I think the OA is relying a bit too much on hyperbole. In the DP, there weren't really too many navigational changes, and the UI was still instant

Fox News and its hypocritical morons are some of the most biased, unmoving, blabbering, illiterate and uneducated right-wing journalists I've ever seen. Same goes for MSNBC, but just replace right-wing with left-wing.

I think it looks fine. The icons only need to be proportioned a little better with regards to the grid they used for the designs, and the translucency could be dialed down slightly. Other than that, it looks great. It's amazing how nob

Jesus Christ. iOS 7 is an excellent revision that brings iOS into the modern age. There's a goddarned video on Apple's website that explains how it's still modern, fresh, but familiar, and that also explains the excruciating

Since they run on different boards, technically you'd set up two or three nodes and run them in a parallel supercomputing setup. Would be expensive as hell, I'd reckon.

Those links are largely sensationalism. I don't agree with everything Apple does, but it's certainly not as bad as how those articles portray it to be. To call GateKeeper "DRM" is absurd, and having non-upgradeable hardw

I hate Google for their lack of respect for privacy, but I disagree. Copied is pushing it, definitely. I'd say "inspired". There has been plenty, plenty of innovation on Google's side. Also, the concept of a capacitive t

I like the color scheme. It's positive and fresh, I think Windows Phone 8 looks drab, bland, and very boring in comparison. Android's Holo is still one of the best color schemes for a mobile device, IMHO.

While the naming is vestigial, the concept is not. Hierarchies are still the best way to navigate and organize data and objects, and search is only one component of that. It works on phones because phones have limited use cases. A computer
