I think it looks fine. The icons only need to be proportioned a little better with regards to the grid they used for the designs, and the translucency could be dialed down slightly. Other than that, it looks great. It's amazing how nobody complains about the preschool look of Windows Phone 8, but when iOS icons have a slight disproportion to them, everybody loses their minds.
