Human nature is fickle. But, you can use it to your advantage. There are billions in the world who are less fortunate than you. I don't mean to lessen your issues, I just want to point out that learning about those less fortunate than

You can run multiple asp.net core services on different ports on same machine. You could create an over-arching console application to automate the same, or you can do it with a simple script. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-u

Sorry, if tests are not adaptable to changing code, why are they called tests? I thought tesring was to check software, not be a constraint on software development. Also, I think using DI in the test process itself will mitigate the issue.

Try building a serious app with node. Its a pain to build and maintain. In .net, you can have teams of people working on business logic DLLs, Data Access DLLs and have a few person team tie them all up in a web app. I hardly think that is p

Yes. You can create a kestrel server based web app, and simply run it, for use in localhost. Adding an nginx as a proxy is also simple. Nothing enterprisey about it. Also, the "Publish" folder is basically the "build" fo

.NET now has a lot of functional stuff. It has a whole functional language (F#), that can natively interop with .NET libraries (even if they are written in C#) C# itself has many functional constructs. With the modern minimal APIs, you can

Blazor IMV is more sane than React. It is an SPA that is structured around routing and pages, which happen to have component hierarchies in them. React is the other way around. Routing in React seems to be an afterthought. And I hate it wit

I find this very intriguing. As a runtime, .NET exposes a lot of high and low level stuff to the developer. Can you give me an example of this offbeat thing you wanted to do that involves overriding an obscure interface? .NET is big, but if

Sometimes, I feel that we ought to have a simple protocol, on top of HTTP, to simply do remote procedure calls and throw out all this HTTP verbs crap. Every request is a http POST, with or without any body and the data transfer is in binary

I am floored by the design. However, the most complex and costly part is the PCB and circuit design. The PCBs used in the blocks are absolutely awesome. Thanks to 3D printers that are cheap, the casing and other plastic materials are easy t

I found that Blazor to be a right mix between server rendered pages and SPAs. The programming model is good and adding interaction is easy. The only issue is with scaling.

Because it is easy to do so. Western media is extremely India phobic and Hindu phobic. The caste system, as per scriptures, is just a categorization of work that people do. Every one is prescribed their duties and jobs as per caste. However

Affirmative action in India is multi-fold. One, there is punishment for insult/discrimination based on caste (in public view, as per law). The law is very powerful, feared and sometimes misused. Two, there is a quota system in educatio
