Run for office. Seriously. Also I'll point out no lawmaker is going to be very well versed in every subject on which legislation is necessary.

Yes, but making it illegal would mean well meaning groups also can't bend the ear of politicians when they need to. The heavily moneyed interests don't really need professional lobbyists so much when they can offer high six figure

This is like saying any engineer would like it to be illegal to have people paid to write documentation. There's an art to communication, especially in niche area like getting the ear of the right legislators and translating a topic in

That's sometimes a good point. Doesn't seem to be a good point here unless you live next to a bean farmer. Coming up with a biomimicking synthetic makes plenty of sense in this instance.

There's usually going to be some signal though even if it was just localized downregulation of some proteins on immune cells induced by a cancer to escape detection. The trouble there is that may be swamped in a systemic serum sample.

But base r already has split() which does the same thing, turns a dataframe into a list of dataframe divided by values of a column. With the base r pipe operator and base functions like subset, aggregate, transform, split, you can basically

The gestation age threshold doesn't really matter across Europe, but a birthweight threshold does somewhat. [1,2] The US doesn't look as bad for infant mortality when only comparing only births at 28 weeks or later, 2nd to last to
