No, he was CTO of a 3 person startup. He was the ONLY one that knew how to code for a while. He did it pretty obsessively and slept next to his computer.

There is a big difference between writing in Go vs Rust. Any intermediate/advanced webdev will feel competent in Go in a matter of days. This is definitely not true with rust.

Ya. The article seems plausible, but NumPy uses Blas/Lapack which can do parallel computation, so thats what is confusing about it to me.
