I can't say why it hasn't caught on yet, but in my opinion, it is fragile, at least when compared to other coins. Here the reward one gets purely depends on the score they get on specific BOINC projects, which can be seen as a sin

Looking back, my reply was unnecessarily snarky. Sorry about that. Inequality is necessary, but the extent of it and the effects bother me sometimes.

The embedded video here[1] is removed too. I have a feeling there's something more to this. [1]: http://wololo.net/2017/12/29/nintendo-switch-kernel-exploit-...

Welcome to the concept of inequality. Most people in the world don't have the access to internet you have. And I would imagine some would say "Holy shit. You people browse message boards? I would rather spend that time on a MOOC&q

While a lot of what you say is true, I think a big factor which isn't overlooked but under accounted for is the worker wage/culture situation. Employee relations get much easier when employees don't have much else choice. As

I realize people's opinions differ on this, but having Google's wifi router is one of the most privacy compromising things one can do. Security wise, sure, great idea. But there's so much data to collect at the router level.

Tomato, DD-WRT, etc. try to be extremely user friendly. Not that LEDE doesn't, but people who have some technical expertise tend to benefit a lot more from LEDE with all their packages. Especially if you can compile an image yourself (

Is that such a bad thing? Any game dev that's not going to use Vulkan will use a game engine, which will pretty much handle vulkan for them. I'm excited because Vulkan support will mean better GPU compute support across platforms.
