Here is the actual single C-code file: https://sqlite.org/althttpd/file?name=althttpd.c Something I absolutely love about text based protocols such as HTTP/1 is how easy you can implement it in any virtually progr

Your cache-key idea infiltrates the overall idea with third-party access. As a site owner who wants to place Ads I just use your script notation to include the ad and then leak data again...

Your test doesn't work because as a sender, your mail program stores the mail including the BCC field. You need at least some other email adress in order to learn by experimenting hwo BCC works :-)

Fortran exists, and it is no more your grandfather's Fortran. It's possible to improve old programming languages and invent new ones at the same time :-)

Despite Pyolite has a miserable performance (20MB of downloads), the overall project direction is correct. I said this already 10 years ago: We don't need more cloud computing but need to empower users end devices again. Jupyter is typ

Vintage radios have a weird time these days because the people (typically: men) who used to have experienced them as young child's are dying. As a consequence, prices are dropping and massive amounts of radios are trashed. Why? Because

And this is how LISP is invented. Any sufficiently complicated program contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of Common Lisp. (Greenspun's tenth rule)

Immediate mode GUIs seem to be some "fresh wind" to desktop GUI toolkits. Apparently they are heavily motivated by gaming and 3D focussed applications. I wonder whether they are also play a role in traditional desktops. The Gio ki

The paradigm reminds me of the message passing paradigm in "early days" object oriented programming languages such as Smalltalk. I guess remote procedure calling (RPC) and message brokers (COM and friends) is the 90s or 2000s ve

Apparently you don't live in a country with a good long-distance public transport or long distance highspeed train network. Before covid, I regularly spent a few hours a week in a 300km/h ICE train in Germany. Nowadays, I spend si
