I get to closely watch my nephew being raised. He is about 2.5 years old now. If his parents need to go somewhere, they do this thing where they slip away while someone distracts the child. Really breaks my heart to see this. I can see the

Are you not alarmed by the startling discoveries made by the hard-at-work researchers where LLMs lie (when explicitly told to) and copy their source files (when explicitly told to)?

Does installing packages with nix pull in whole runtimes like flatpak does? Between flatpak, nix and the games the space usage could become a concern for me.

I am interested in hearing how people use this level of customisation in their workflow, whether it is through this particular tool or by configuring at the keyboard firmware level. This is a new paradigm for me.

A good chance for federal prosectutors to "send a message" as they did with Aaron Swartz but I don't see things going that way.

Absolutely. With one tenth of the effort that you put into bragging about throwing three documents at an LLM it is certainly doable. :)

The Indian Express page should explicitly state that the comparison was done using AI. Maybe it's because I am on mobile but I don't see anything of that sort.

I don't understand how the police encountered a bail-skipping presumed dead person at a crime scene and just let them go.
