That page is weirdly interesting to me. It's hosted on sites.google.com which was probably one of the worst ideas google ever had, security wise (yes mom, always make sure the page says Google.com - but not sites.google.com). It's

I'm not working but oncall. Fingers crossed. I always volunteer (I did a few years in a row) as usually it's quiet (no deployments, people understand it's a holiday) and it's a small price to pay to not feel bad for alwa

This is an interesting way of writing a quick and dirty script, completely different than I would have written it (I would have definitely have used a lot more subshells, temporary variables, escaped the characters in the commands, "#&

Yes, I agree, I don't think that $8B is a lot of money for the US, especially in the military context. I was just surprised at the number and shared some back story.

Totally depends on the state. In Ireland you don't pay anything when the stocks are granted to you (you're promised X stocks in Y months), you pay income tax (PAYE) on them when they vest (you receive the stocks) and then you pay

Google could build a proprietary service on top of an AGPL Chromium. All they would have to do is either not accept external contributions (they already sponsor most if not all of the development anyway) or require contributions to sign a C

What they meant is having thumbnail instead of the icon, so that you can quickly see a preview of all the files instead of having to select them one by one. This article was somewhat recently shared and it explains the whole ordeal https:&

I think I want to do the opposite of reading my mind to be honest. The default cell type is generic, so just assume everything is a string and don’t do any parsing. Maybe show a tooltip to quickly change the cell type if you detect somethin

As for the other comment, there is an artificial 2s delay between image loads. It might be to reduce the load on the server, or just to make it seems like it's doing more work than it is. A very hacky way to remove it (I'm sure th
