I just made my own the other day, but yours demonstrated how much better what I came up with could be. The /panel idea is great. I'll get them onto improving my gpt. It's niche, but I think your gpt will excel at that. Thanks

Essentially the same thought here, as I always thought of it as the "actually rich" versus the "nouveau riche."

A Rolex is likely still working if you buy it at an antique market. Apple, not so much. They'll be non-functional and useless well before they could be even considered a 'classic.' Even old Casio watches from the early 80

Robb Report still considers them to be a beginner's watch, and treat the brand as only of interest to people who want to dip their toes into the higher end watch collecting waters.

Especially since the change was more than a year ago. I'm sure everyone still uses the twitter domain as well. And it's clear that people are still using the word 'tweets' (although xeets and xcreets are more appropriate

This sounds very familiar to me. A couple years ago I helped someone in a situation incredibly similar to this. I'm in infosec, and have forensics in my background. He used to "talk" to the hackers by writing text the phone&#

If you're interested in that sort of thing, I wrote Hello World using 6 different methods in Assembler for Raspberry Pi. Even if not using a Raspberry Pi, it might be of interest to anyone that wants to understand what the difference i

If you do a writeup on the prefetch queue and want some original code for tampering with it, let me know. I did some deep experimentation with it in the 90's, and still have the code archived. The prefetch queue could be (ab)used in so

My partner's been using ChatGPT to correct everything. But I suppose that doesn't really help improve your ability to write. It does improve the writing itself, though.

This is true. You can tease dogs with it before throwing, and they'll be all over you. A cat will watch you acting silly, waiting for you to finally throw it (unless they get bored of you first). At least that's my experience. Inc

You can also ask them to stop recommending getting your wisdom teeth out. That's their cash cow, and they badly want to remove them even if there's no reason to. I'm in my 50's, and I got tired of them asking me "Wh

I use Google and Dropbox more like thumbdrives. Dropbox automagically takes pics and vids off my cell phone. When it syncs on my desktop, they are then (by a schedule) moved to a closer-to-permanent location and the spool is deleted. 10 Ter

Part of the reason is that every time the desktop environment starts to get good, they ditch everything about it for another product cycle. So everything you do is mired in keeping up with the underlying bits that just can't stay still
