They are not also, but I like that they didn't ban those, we can use agents thanks to that.

Not sure. Our big org, banned MCPs because they are unsafe, and they have no way to enforce only certain MCPs (in github copilot).

There is no standard for MCP authentication, because of that it is e.g. blocked in my enterprise. Basically they want to avoid non-technicals installing random MCPs and exposing internals to internet.

Most CLIs use `--help`, any other are just plain hostile to the users. `-h` is also popular, but there is also possible issue of that shorthand, hence `--help`.

If one doesn't sandbox agent run environment then there is a problem there already.

I don't think so. There is no MCP standard for authentication, our infosec banned MCP because of that.

MCP also doesn't work for coworkers that are technical. It works for their agents only. CLI works for both agents and technical people. REST API works for both agents and technical people. MCP works only for agents (unless I can curl t

What is there to loose in trying? Basically, don't trust AI if it says "you program is secure", but if it returns results how you could break it, why not take a look? This is the way I would encourage AI to be used, I prefe

I feel better with `curl ... | sh` than with npm. npm suggests projects written in js, which is not something I'm comfortable. It is nice to see that this is not JS, but Rust.

github? I just do some click here, click there, copy paste and gh cli is ready. For google I need PhD to setup any kind of API access to my own data. And it frequently blocks you, because you can setup as a test product, add test accounts (

Crazy. And this project uses "google" in its org, so I would assume it is offical or at least lawyers are running toward the owner with lawsuits.

Is Google Workspace some separate thing from well, normal Google? I mean I have personal gmail, drive, keep, etc. Will it work there?

Why? MCP and CLI is similar here. You need agent to find MCP and what it can be used for (context), similarly you can write what CLI use for e.g. jira. Rest is up to agent, it needs to list what it can do in MCP, similarly CLI with proper h

Also, one of the best projects that help with that "last mile" is StreetComplete ( https://streetcomplete.app/ available in Google Plasy and F-droid), it makes quite easy to add e.g. opening hours to shops.

Does US really have Department of War? Is this Antropics way to show how f &^ ^& up they are in Department of Defense, or did they rebranded it to the old WWI/II days?

I remember that in Poland in early 1980s I've seen that cord somewhere in a bus.

It's pure eletronic (no steampunk thing like in SF ;) ) - a button on handles, all over the bus, with obvious ones next to a door. e.g.- https://www.shutterstock.com/search/bus-stop-button

When I was in SF, my European mind was astonished why bus stops are so often (and why there is a cable to pull, but that's a different thing). Considering that the area was less populated than my city. And we also have speedbuses that

Is this the time of year when we try to force redditors to stay away by posting about Prolog? I see three stories already.
