This isn't too insightful. The article swimmingly explains that there is a "golden ratio" and then goes on to just repeat "you can use that in design", with no concrete examples or explanations aside a small use cas

I actually thought this might be a cool solution exactly because of people feeling that way - if you think streaming, for example, or video calls, where you'd rather not like to be streaming your actual face, technology like this might

30 may be out of range again, but your point is exactly right. None of these color palette sites & service ever work for actual interface or brand design work. They encourage picking harmonic sets of 4-5 colors, which is only a secondar

Felt the same, though it really depends very much on your use case. If you end up in the thousands of daily approvals, then yes, that would be immensly expensive for the service it provides

Strongly agree with this. I live in Europe, my tuition was free, and the paradigms are hugely different to the US, with things like: free health care, and such. And still, the article reads to me like "upper middle class kids have it s

I use a combination of a physical notebook for graphical stuff and elaborating things, Google Keep for any kind of random thoughts and ideas, and actually use the dm-yourself thing for collecting/bookmarking links I wanna revisit.

To be honest for most projects I still use Wordpress & a Plugin like Advanced Custom Fields on the backend side of things, and just plain old PHP/HTML/CSS on the front. Although modern frameworks & SPA are really fancy and

Granted on the folder side of things, but adding an attachment is really just dropping it into the folder on the filesystem side. You can't just paste it like you could with other apps on Windows though, and youll need to do a tiny bit

I feel you on this, but for me the solution has been really simple so far: just a dedicated notes folder + good ol' atom. Ticks all the boxes & uses nothing but my default workspace

I kinda don't get why people end up building electron apps to, essentially, "act like it's native". The app looks absolutely awesome, but i would have loved to just see it run in the browser, I'm kinda reluctant to

Thats really bad, these few little things are, if anything, an absolute foundation of Typography - a designer should get knowledgeable with this quite early in their formation.
