I'm usually a php guy, and recently I had to use some vendor's python api to do some data integration and this might have come in handy. I picked up python, or atleast the basic syntax in roughly 1 day, and was done with my implem

I've done interviews before. I think that there are still many older people, and young people who do not have accounts on sites like github, they have nothing to show. But may be reasonable candidates to hire because of their technical

I'm going to have to agree with your statement, "Creating a complex web application with Views, Sub Views & Deep-linking is difficult, no matter what framework you use". I tried using emberjs, their docs at the time were all over the pl

Firebug is a monster ram whore, ideally the functionality would be built into firefox so it can be maintained as a core-set functionality. Then they can assemble unit tests etc to make sure it's there for the longrun.

This guy probably has aspergers. It makes sense in my opinion. Very articulate, doesn't see the social necessity to be around others.

I've worked in the "war-room" style environment, it's okay as long as it's only for work, and not play, because when you have the "game-room" the "work-env" in the same place, productivity goes way way down. It's hard to work when you see y
