I don't see a problem with not being able to explain how something works as long as it's not failing empirically. Scientists also cannot explain how humans work in detail and yet humans are "allowed" to do many things an

If you think about future business cases, my guess is if I'm in the content creation business I'd hire some artist to create inputs for my ML model to train. And I'd be the only one with access to these inputs (in the beginni

I see two things that are valuable in 5G. Number is campus networks (basically run your own cell network company wide) which makes sense in some use cases (production plant with a lot of IoT devices) and number two is the (potential) low la

I think Koran is quite interesting. The symbols were designed from scratch iirc. and they are extremly logical. I'd argue that most people will be able to read and correctly pronounce Korean in a couple of days (even if they don't

I find it interesting that one of the go to "let's learn Rust" books (Hand on Rust) is cantered around building a rogue like game. I feel like this will have a subtle but noticable (long tail) impact because many people who s

It all depends on the context. In academia it is a great tool. I can set up a couple of notebooks on our GPU server and give many students access to powerful GPUs without having to worry abbout shell access etc. Aditionally they are ready t

Interesting. Adding "stock photo" to the string generated that getty tag? That is probably the most attackable (alas easy to fix) part of the issue. It will be an interesting question how close to the original a picture has to be

I think the key question here is...why manage one person. A one to one ratio of managers to "workers" seems completely rediculous to me. If you insist on one to one then assign a mentor, not a manager, at least if it's a tech
