Sounds very enticing, however $25/m for 1 TB seems rather pricey. Is replication that x2, or is it included?

Ok, sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I'm sure you had the best intentions in mind when writing your answer. The thing is, for me the main reason to ask questions on forums like HN is to work against "unknown unknowns". T

B2 doesn't require any closed-source platform specific software to use, you can just use restic. And I'm not sure why should I care about either software and hardware on their end, they should be basically an external hard-drive

If you ask me about "songs about white collar work", first thing that comes to my mind is this[0] (it's a cover, but I like this one better). It isn't about white collar work, of course, but white collar work is all abou

I'm afraid "selling" requires a bit more than showing me a "Buy Now" button. At least in my case, you are also supposed to show me the product.

Totally off-topic, but where did the idea come from that landing sites are supposed to look like that? How am I even supposed to navigate this fucking thing? It's so frustrating when I try to scroll and objects start flying around fran

Sure, everything you are saying is correct, but you two are basically concerned about different problems, and, FWIW, I'm honestly more concerned about your "opponent"'s one. All this CO₂ emission stuff got way more polit

> Displaying 1 kilobyte of data should take roughly 1 kilobyte of traffic Is this to be taken literally? I don't consider myself a performance-tuning expert, but I'm not sure how can I make something useful out of this advice.

I work with projects where this is utilized and I'm not sure they are better than nothing. Maybe I will change my mind someday, but up to this point, "conventional commits" are the stupidest thing ever. First off, this is not

It's really stupid that this stuff still happens. I mean, youtube-dl main devs are stepping away, it's understandable. But it would be so much more convenient for everyone, if it was passed over to somebody, who is still intereste

Bad? No, not really. If you ask me, (almost?) nothing is inherently bad. But it's a nice and obvious feature to skip them if you want, so it's pretty amazing that such options are possible now. (However, I don't think I'
