My guess is that its for the same reason phones battery life hasn't really changed much over the years: the current range is enough for most people. 300 ish miles is enough for local driving for a few days without worrying about rechar

Defund is the opposite of fund. If fund doesn't imply that they had no money at all, defund shouldnt imply removing all their money. If the intention was to get rid of NASA, then the phrase would be "abolish NASA", "dism

If I said "the government needs to fund NASA" or "NASA needs funding", you wouldn't assume that they currently have no money.

So it's not broken or fucked up, it just: - is splintered - is divided - is hard to govern - has an economic structure that encourages division - has an increasing dive between the haves and have nots

A long time ago I was thinking about this and how if you could better visualise the relationships between functions/modules, it would be clearer to see where there are issues with coupling and cohesion. I think for the most part it cou

I'd be less worried about the damage that the coffee is doing and more worried about the damage waking up at 6am every day is doing. (assuming that if you arent stopping for the day until 9pm you aren't going to sleep at 10pm)

I've tried a lot of different setups over the years at work and at home, with laptops, 3 monitors, thin monitors, vertical monitors, etc. I eventually settled on one 43 inch 4k monitor. I have it divided into 3 columns and 2 rows, and

not sure if its the same for you, but for me each arrow up/down is equivalent to about 15-20 scrollwheel notches of my mouse, which is enough to see the other parts.

I don't usually like this kind of design, but in this case I like the way it works, and how the text pauses at interesting bits. Just my 2 cents. EDIT: I just tried with the arrow keys and agree that that's not a nice experience.

Could you describe the issue more? I've been using ubuntu for years and I've had plenty of issues, but cut and paste isn't one of them. It behaves exactly the same as windows for me.

That's simply not true, because /r/gonewild are extremely strict about not allowing OF creators. They can post under a seperate account but any mention of they're main account or OF results in a swift permanent ban.

Won't this cause issues with retraining? You'll end up with a high SNR and lower sync speed, which may solve the packet loss problem but isn't ideal. It would be better to either work out whether the router is the issue and r

Yeah, I think this separation of concern misses a step. Let's say you have controller -> Business logic layer -> Data access layer. The controller takes in some input, validates it, passes it to the business logic layer. The busi

Fixing bad code is like repairing an old building, you have to put in the scaffolding and supports (int/component tests) first to make sure it stays up before you gut it and check whats salvageable (refactoring and unit tests)

I think mocks in unit tests are a code smell, that indicates that the business logic has not been correctly isolated from the rest of the code, or that the code shouldn't be unit tested at all, and should instead be component/inte
