What does "tech industry" mean in this context? There is an additional referenced article ( https://balkaninsight.com/2023/09/25/who-benefits-inside-the... ) that goes into more detail, but I still do

Very cool! While I'm not an Android user, I'm glad to see this released. The more tablet-friendly IDE's the better.

+1 to Code App. The developer has been super responsive to bugs. So far the app is the best IDE offering on iPad imho.

Yes. I have an instance running on the dev box. The only issue has been an issue with the right-click in Safari not properly handling PWAs like VSCode, causing it to show the iPadOS context menu over the VSCode menu. It has been resolved in

Interesting! That is not my experience at all. My only issue has been the right click contextual menu behavior being inconsistent with google docs and VSCode. I hate to say this but have you tried a fresh install? I did to that and it resol

I’m using iPadOS 17 and it is vastly better than 16, so once it comes out you should give it a shot. I can absolutely understand being unhappy with it before. What makes 17 so much better is that you have the freedom to move windows around

I see this sort of headline and have a visceral reaction, but this time it wasn’t justified (woot). Some thoughts: > I once joined a company as a consultant - in the previous 12 months, they'd spent their entire $1,500,000 marketing

As a long time iPad user I’m apprehensive. As others have noted, Linux based touch experiences have so far been lacking. That said, I love the thought of it. I’ve recently started using my iPad Pro as my daily driver (replacing a Mac Studio

Battery aside, POE also allows you to put it anywhere you have ethernet cable with sufficient power delivery. In this case you could have a workstation powered entirely off ethernet delivered to the location (some monitors will also work wi

I'm going to try this with my extra Mac mini and one of my switches that outputs POE++ at the full 60w. I should even be able to do this using a fairly bog-standard POE splitter from POE Texas that'll actually deliver a full 60W.

The line is owned by BNSF and has quite a lot of BNSF and Union Pacific trains running on it daily, in addition to the Cascades services. No amount of improving the tracks will fix congestion, so moving to a separate line entirely for passe

Woot! I can't wait to try out Unifi Access with your platform. For cameras, my initial ideas are relatively simple: - If someone uses an access key card and is allowed entry through Unifi Access, record a clip on nearby cameras and unl

Might be worth going for halibut this year. If the coastal waters are still super cold it should keep the SF bay quite active for the season, so you could always try hitting the sand flats off South SF. I haven't done it myself but oth
