China also has a couple potential hubs as seen from Europe. China Southern (which flies A380 via CAN) and Air China (one of very few 747-8 operators) often have the cheapest flights to Asia these days.

I believe you are right. In the late 90s most forum software had image emoticons as well as animated ones. The Japanese have had emojis (which is where the name comes from) on their phones since the beginning of the century. I am not sure w

There were certainly HDD-Mp3 players around before the iPod (I used to own a Creative Nomad Jukebox and then the excellent Archos Jukebox which even allowed you to flash open source firmware on it). I think the first Windows compatible iPod

Very interesting! Some random searches brought me to this: https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/104-101... It seems to be a summary on a special agent operating in the 60s and gives som

Very interesting book indeed although the author sometimes comes off a bit self-righteous in my opinion.

I have the same experience. Linux is vastly superior in stability, package management and just basic productivity. There are of course still trade-offs such as drivers which, although so much better than what they used to be decades ago, ar

I believe the reason IPAs are very popular is because they are very easy to make compared to other types and quite difficult to mess up. I have been brewing my own beer for several years now and getting a lager or wheat right is very diffic

ATM withdrawals is the main selling point though. There are plenty of cards in the UK that do not have a foreign transaction charge on purchases (nationwide, lloyds avios, for example).

I think it's due to how the question was formulated. The answer is not really if the person 'likes' a language but more about if the person is looking for a job writing that language. That would also explain why JS is so low

All of that is very subjective (and why do you state this as a 'fact'?). If you don't use Apple as your main computer you basically have zero integration. Don't even get me started on interoperability (you can't eve

You must have a very very cheap or an especially buggy Android phone. Having used both Android and iOS I think it's quite clear that both platforms are just as buggy as one another with the recent iOS11 outpacing Android in terms of bu

They are given out for free to anyone signed up to Vitality health care (and stay 'active'). A lot of companies in the city use them as the health care perk. I wonder how much that has bolstered the amount of people using one.

I have a T431s and I love it. It's been going strong for years now! It's a nice compromise between an ultrabook and a massive brick of a laptop. It is 'cheap', powerfuland easily upgradable but still very portable.
