Which one are you referring to? The recent millions of contacts that were exposed from FB contained phone numbers. It had my phone number and it's not public.

By interface you mean.. the HTTP protocol? At least they can be scoped on the domain level. Browser storage can't.

They kinda already did though. You don’t see likes/dislikes when you search for a video so you only use it’s popularity in order to decide to click on it.
