If you've tried Postman ( https://www.getpostman.com/ ), how would you say Insomnia is better?

Agreed. I work for a company in such a niche and there are definitely side-niche markets still out there for people to find and dominate, sometimes even on SEO alone. A small piece of a huge pie is still a very large piece to me.

I would think it would be due to the sheer power differences of each organization. While I'm sure Canonical isn't strapped for cash, it's clear Apple is far larger of a company. The fact that Apple has built its user followin

I feel like saying DDoS mitigators are in a position to not stop attacks is akin to saying car insurance companies are in a position to not stop car accidents. I think the value prop is the quality of the service WHEN the attacks happen, an

The fact that the founders are involved as well is awesome. I'd say it really humanizes them in an environment where upper-level management could seem unreachable or distant.

I've been a Wunderlist user for a while, now shopping around for a viable alternative. It's truly amazing how few options there are that match Wunderlist's feature set. It's also truly amazing how "basic" the f

I can honestly say the only thing we found the full Docker line up (Containers, Swarm, Machine, etc.) good for large scale dev or staging/testing stuff. There are definitely uses for each of these tools, or other combinations, that hav

Exactly. I had, at one point, run through all of the latest open source offerings in this space. Right after I got everything up and running, the initial whisper of maintenance came back and I purchased the entry level GitHub subscription.

Wouldn't the developer still price to market in this case? It would be ideal that the decrease in commissions would be proportionate in developers' price points, but more than likely you're still paying .99-1.99 on average fo

FWIW, the Esc key normally gets rid of these. Regardless, it is such an annoying marketing trick. Who knows... it must still provide a positive ROI if so many sites are still using it, unfortunately.

For sure. I definitely underestimate the advantages of an admin panel with proper permissions and reporting. Working primarily with an e-commerce platform day-to-day, I do feel the hit of subpar solutions when using rails or similar.

I know support, especially good support, is a hard problem to solve. However have you explored documenting processes in extreme detail in order to outsource that part of the business? The upfront investment would be great, but the returns i

Echoing the above, this is extremely important. Before jumping into any of the container orchestration tools you should familiarize yourself with terminology of Docker and it's concepts. I made the mistake of jumping in to Swarm (still

I still don't understand this theory. As stated above, containers have the option to mount volumes on the host file system. Anything written while the container running is immediately persisted, and if the container dies you just re-mo
