Mos + MX Master 3 has been everything I need. It takes some fiddling between Mos and Logi Options to get the scroll feeling good, but you can get there.

Does anyone have a good overview of threading on AWS? Every time I read about it I get confused, it seems like there are wildly different rules depending on the context. Lambda is different than ECS which is different from EC2

But be careful, because if you're on a small team you'll inevitably become the CI guy. And your boss might not really appreciate that you're putting less product code out.

Its absolutely not the same thing from a hardware perspective. Normal components always operate on bits. We see "5", but the computer sees (at least) 3 bits. It then sends its output as bits to the next one. A 5 must require 3 wir

I think the worst part of dynamic (JS) websites is the air gap between client and server. Its so painfully obvious compared to a static site. The Data flow feels like client->transform->api->transform->server->db->server-&

I don't know why everyone assumes "more startups!" is an unambiguously good thing. This industry is changing the world, but probably not for the better.

The crasiest part is that they train the neurons by just pulsing them in a "pleasing" way. ...what? Are they experiencing pleasure? It sounds a lot like they're experiencing pleasure.

Similarly, 4K video looks much better on a 1080p screen than a 1080p video. A youtuber posted a comparison, its easy to see even in a still image. Its all in their encoding algorithm.

You can kinda argue whatever you want when it comes to this stuff. It doesn't really matter. Is the code readable? Does it not make me angry to look at? Yes? Then its good enough. I don't care if the object has one method that pro

The problem for me is that the shortest path often has nothing to do with the "best" path. Committing to it means you're never actually going to get it working right. You're going to get a knot in your stomach a year l
