That has been how I have started to do it. I make a new branch, make a mess of it (until I am finished), then merge it back into the original "golden" branch.

That has been my pattern for some hobby projects, however it quickly becomes a mess to keep track of what you have done over a period of time (I have the same bad habit, I commit things so I can freexe my code in case I mess something up).

I have found Community Colleges to be the perfect place for this actually. Community College classes are MUCH cheaper, and are even more so if you don't take the class for credit (where I went, tuition was $20 for a 1 credit class for

Yeah that really wouldn't surprise me. In the end, the upgrade works, so I really haven't looked into what causes the problem.

Yeah, I was assuming it was either that, but I do notice that "backup" takes a long time. As soon as backup is done it is on the order of 4-5 minutes. But then again, I store something like 5 TB worth of files on my Nextcloud, so

That's been my experience as well. I have run Owncloud -> Nextcloud (when it was first released) since at least mid-2015, and I am on the same instance I first built. I stay on the stable channel, and I get a notification if an app

I would also argue that possibly doing it per time may be the wrong incentives. I have had issues that took me several hours to try to debug, only to have someone else show me how to fix it in under 2 minutes. So that dev gets paid $1, but

I've noted an increasing trend in US papers that the headline or the first few paragraphs sort of level where the author expects your beliefs will be, and much of the article is precicated on such beliefs. For me personally, it makes t

I may have to rewatch it, but I recall that movie being fairly entertaining, even as an adult. I also will say I went to watch it without having seen the original Cars, so perhaps I really had no expectations for the film (other than it was

Are you referring to VoIP apps or VoLTE? The pinephone's modem can do VoLTE on several carriers and SMS over LTE. I haven't really looked into VoIP apps themselves.

I have found that the UI is sluggish when one first boots up the Pinephone, and the experience seems to vary greatly between distros. My experience on Mobian is the same as the video (with the exception of start up).
