But then you need something like Nano instead of Bitcoin, which has 0 fees. Ideal for such micro transactions.

Yeah I agree. My parents were born in the 40's and 50's, and they always taught me not to discuss politics publicly. It was just the smarter thing to do that nobody knew your alignment. It seems now online, the biggest discussions

That might be true. But at least what you describe is not my experience. All women I know want serious relationships, not one-night stands (Belgium). Maybe in your part of the world or generation that is different.

> lost trust in the goodwill of women Where is your goodwill? Are you just sleeping around with women or do you want to find a partner, settle down and start a family? Most women want that. So why would you question the goodwill of women

Biologically that makes no sense. Having sex as a male basically has no consequences. Having sex as a woman can have huge consequences. Therefore, biologically the parent poster is correct.

Everyone should read "Trust me I'm lying". It wouldn't surprise me if this was just all a PR stunt, and a very effective one.

If I do 20-25 hours a week, and nobody else can outperform me in productive output, I don't really care how much hours they put in. I've had jobs where I was productive maybe 4 hours a week, and got excellent reviews. So I always

Waterfall works great when you have a lot of confidence in the problem and solution. In fact waterfall is the better process in that case. But as things become more unpredictable, you need a process that can respond fast to changes.

Can I see GPT as some sort of lossy compression? You feed it loads and loads of data, where the neural net basically compresses it all into the structure and weights. Then you give it some (un)compressed part, and it gives you the other.

If you're overweight, unhealthy, do no physical activity and always tired because you go to bed too late, well, maybe a bit of good habits would be welcome. I highly doubt that such a person is happier than the healthy fit one.

Yes indeed, I fully agree. I once insulted an employer with this expression :). I told them that in the past we were building sheds, and that it all went very well. But now there was a skyskraper project, and that they cannot expect us to b

You have the wrong metaphor, since bridge projects are all more or less the same, but software projects aren't. I like the shed and skyskraper metaphor better. It makes a clear distinction that some projects are sheds (can be a single

That's the difference between builing a shed and building a skyscraper. And most developers don't understand that sometimes you want to build a shed. In that case, applying the skyscraper building conventions is overkill. Of cours
