This is just a neural network fed with some dog pictures, it's not really "thinking", it doesn't "create" anything. In other words, it's not (yet) artificial general intelligence. As I see it, it's ju

I use solarized, which has a light and a dark variant. So even when I'm in the terminal (which is always) I can easily switch between light and dark. The solarized vim plugin even has a key binding to do this.

It does affect readability! That's the reason we have punctuation rules in human languages. Maybe it doesn't have any effect when reviewing _one_ commit message, but when you're reading a list of hundreds, or thousands of the

There's many people here in the EU who are strongly opposed (myself, for example). We don't want this "prosperity" if they're going to undo many regulations we have in place for our safety. Food-industry regulations

While it's true that it's not their fault, it's a shame that they've folded to the pressures of the media lobby. But I don't blame them, business is business. You can't just let the major content creators go to

This is terrible. So Google is trying to get out of the monopoly accusations by bribing the mainstream media. They will make a deal and Google will get its monopole, and the media too. I don't know if anyone here heard about the "

Also with all my respects to mr. Resig, but this is not really code to learn from. It's full of bad habits and it's hard to read. Poorly named, mostly uncommented and pretty hacky. Not really judging, it was just a bunch of handy

Yes, it can be easily done with a combination of divs, fixed width and overflow-x: scroll. But I doubt one can do that with a table only, which is a shame, because it would lose markup semantic. Edit: Little PoC http://codepen.io

I use tail -f inside tmux anyways, so I already have the extra feature less offers ("navigation mode", searching, etc) without giving up the "watch multiple files" feature. A much nicer alternative, IMHO.

Vimdiff also support 3-way diffs. Git integration with fugitive is also worth mentioning. It makes partial committing and cherry picking very easy. Either way, icdiff looks very promising.

Not necessarily. The original patch Tarruda tried to get merged into Vim provided asynchronous commands in pure Vimscript (through a new kind of event for autocmd). I would guess this feature is already in NeoVim.
