No, it's not. In some aspects it's better, in others - it is worse.

I'm sure I saw some limit update or something recently. Will dig it out in a bit.

Didn't think about that. There are, of course, ugly workarounds, but I just asked about SimpleDB not because it's fun to use, but because of its low cost in this scenario.

As far as I recall there was a small update in SimpleDB just a few months ago.

I am sorry, but how can DynamoDB be cheaper when I have to pay to provision capacity and SimpleDB is practically free for low-volume stuff like this? S3 is probably an even better option, which seem to be on the roadmap, thankfully.

Why DynamoDB and not, let's say, SimpleDB? I'm sorry but isn't this "tiny" utility coming with huge requirements indeed?

This could end up being more expensive than Docker's own or CoreOS's. People would rather pay a flat fee rather than worrying about storage and bandwidth.

This is definitely not a novel idea, but it's well-executed. Anyway, my personal issue with this is the excessive packaging and possibly non-compact storage if you have to, for example, go abroad for a month.

I'm sorry, but with Rex you don't use much of Perl. It's a DSL, which is based on Perl.

Same here. I recently found out about Babashka [0] and Declarative Bash [1], but I've written something similar already. It's much easier to find talent that knows Bash and can learn a readable library of Bash scripts within a day

Depends on the audience. Consumers speak .com, geeks - .io, so, server.io is perfectly fine, but dating.io is not.

LDL numbers themselves are meaningless unless you do fractioning, which your doctor doesn't do (mostly for cost purposes).

I understand, but during times when you can buy a decent whole web servers for just $60 per year with traffic and all, the SSL certificate prices are just outrageously high!

Prices are much higher compared to Namecheap and their SSLs.com [0]. [0] https://www.ssls.com/

In Firefox I had nearly 9,000 tabs in there (no kidding). One day, after rebooting the browser, the .json file it was using got truncated to 0 - one of my worst days ever!

I'm using it, too, but it should find a way to eliminate dupes. Also, all these tools lose the history, i.e. if you reopen a tab, you can't go back, which I understand, but would wish there was a way to store at least few hops bac

How is it any more modern than GroupServer [0], for example? I was looking for some mailing list software, mailman looked pretty dated, now it will look newer, and, yet, not modern, but I ended up using Groups.io [1] at the end. [0] http:&

This is not true. It's about the "freedom" not to change canons that have lasted thousands of years just to be politically correct, which is not freedom, but arm-twisting. So, pick your religion carefully, folks. At least in
