Exactly. This part of the article stood out particularly to me: "After eight moves, using his own limited chess ability, the unthinkable was occurring: Max was winning." Pure dramatic bluster. White has a built-in but small initia

This is sound advice. I did have chess coaches when younger. I reached 2100 at 17 but stopped playing shortly after to focus on school and other things (competitive chess play and study is extremely time consuming). Even when I was 1900ish

I have a WP blog that I wrote about my experience becoming a licensed professional engineer, which basically entails writing up your experience and taking an ethics exam. At the time I did it to make myself accountable to follow through. It

Kitchener-Waterloo? edit: just thought it would be a suitable talent hub. Not sure why I'm getting downvoted. Maybe Toronto would be more suitable?

Agreed. $30/month for only Disney content would only be for the die-hards IMHO, but there are a fair number of those. Saying "most" families would is unfounded.

Agreed. Engineering is a "profession". You wouldn't call medicine or law "trades". In some jurisdictions (Canada for example) calling yourself a "software engineer" without having a professional engineerin

I agree that I don't really see what the problem is. Curious that AirBnB would deny it though. Does it hurt their brand?

I'm a parent, but even love of a child is not "unconditional". There are too many ugly counterexamples to easily disprove that. The bond between parent and child is special, for sure, but I do believe you can build such bonds

I'm sorry to hear that. Just to clarify, you're saying you hate your father despite him having done nothing intentionally to deserve that hatred? You're obviously not obliged to go into more detail, but I guess I'm wonde

I'm down-voting you (and not only you, to be fair) because you are hell-bent on creating a discussion against Iranian politics in a thread about the tragic, early death of a brilliant mathematician who happened to be an Iranian-America
