In the (hopefully) unlikely case one founder has to be fired by the others, this keeps incentives properly aligned. Few things are as demoralizing as needing to fire a co-founder in the first place, but if they keep the same equity stake as

I believe you, but can you please name and shame? I'd hate to accidentally purchase hardware which by design makes entering firmware setup impossible[1]. With online ordering this isn't always something you can check in advance. [1] I'm ass

Tarsnap works really, really well. Just make a consistent snapshot of your data (I'm using UFS snapshots), point Tarsnap at it, and you're good to go. The documentation is thorough, and Colin (the owner/operator/author) responds quickly to

Given that dtrace and ZFS are both available on FreeBSD, what are the reasons for choosing to deploy Linux instead? It's not like the GUI or driver support matter on a server.

I ask in the most genuine way possible: Why? IPv6 is for when you can't get an IPv4 address anymore. To the best of my knowledge, there aren't currently users with only IPv6 addresses, so there's zero reason for us to support it. In the gen

That behavior shouldn't get you banned, but some of your requests will get dropped if you make too many too quickly. You will see 304s for static resources, like images and CSS. Efficiently handling HEAD requests for dynamically generated

I changed header parsing last night to make header name processing case insensitive. Due to an oversight, the first cookie sent was being dropped. As long as your session cookie wasn't first in the cookie header, everything worked fine, whi
