org-babel is a really cool extension of org-mode and Emacs. But it is only useful for Emacs users and therefor useless for any professional use-cases. As much as I love Emacs expecting people to learn it is a bit too much.

You should do that. I did so in 2012 and I have never looked back. Besides that ArchLinux just works better the ArchLinux community understood that a good documentation is way more important than a flashy gui.

I doubt that video will become the modern equivalent of the book. Written text is still the best medium to transmit information. For entertainment purposes sure. But video probably already dominates that domain since we have more than 3 TV
