I disagree. By only showing the artist’s impression they give a false sense of what our scientific capabilities are. The images are amazing but they’re also rather poor in the mind of a child who only ever sees artist’s impressions and 4K H

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the competing designs to the McDonnell Douglas design before. Were these public at the time like with later aircraft competitions? I’m thinking of the YF-17, YF-23 and X-32.

I think I just need to get the same puncture resistant tyres I had on it previously which were excellent. The current ones where whatever the LBS had in stock.

I've a 24 km commute in Dublin in Ireland. It's most consistent by ebike. Driving can take anywhere from 35 minutes to over an hour depending on traffic. Public transport takes 90 minutes and there is only a direct bus a couple of

This seems like the kind of thing the FaceID sensors in iPad and iPhones could achieve. I’ve been impressed with its use for face painting in Procreate for example.

Apple Arcade on Apple TV is pretty good for kids. There’s some really nice actual games there. My seven year old has enjoyed Sneaky Sasquatch, Assemble With Care, Simon’s Cat, Alba, Lego Builders Journey and What the Golf. All have had inte

You keep claiming it’s political when it isn’t. The mod feels personally that JKR is bad and lashes out on a website to hurt other people. They aren’t protesting the legal status of trans people. They aren’t demanding changes to health care

Personal as in their private life or identity is affected, not interpersonal as in a relationship between two or more people or groups. Political would relate to government policies, or how a country is run. I’m flabbergasted that I need to

If I painted it as a political agenda someone else would complain. They are personally affected because they are trans. That seemed the most honest way to phrase it.

Except they didn’t just stop there. They used their platform to actively hurt those capable of separating the art from the artist. I’ve no interest in the Harry Potter series. I’ve never read or watched any of it and I’ve a negative opinion

Interestingly enough there’s been some mod drama over on /r/AskScienceFiction today. This is a sub where people ask questions and get in universe responses. It’s very nerdy and can be fun. It also can attract a certain type of pos

I’ve an old iPod touch from 2010 knocking about still. The kids play local music on it and mess about with its camera. It’s not connected to the internet. The battery is not up to much anymore but it works incredibly well still. I’m shocked

It’s relatively affordable to hire a car here. Public transport isn’t great. The west is particularly picturesque, as said Galway is great. Kerry and West Cork are very touristy but beautiful. What would you like to do?
