I would love to see someone add that to the library. Personally, all of the applications I work on are Ruby, so including a gem is the easiest way to generate a styleguide. I would suggest though not to customize the comment syntax. That'

Sounds like you didn't read my post or the README. Check it out. This is intended to work with things like SASS & LESS. There's a lot more to CSS than buzzwords :)

Tender was built with that exact situation in mind. You can attach any number of support issues to one Lighthouse ticket and get bi-directional notification. This is a nice way to notify n support requests that the problem has been fixed on

On the website, we only show you branches with unique commits. So if you merge a branch, it won't appear. This kind of sucks, but that page will get better with time.

The OVF will be updated infrequently — there is a software package you upload in a management interface that installs the new software and configures your instance with the updates. It's pretty seamless — download a file, upload it, wait a

1. Very frequently. The reason this launch took so long was in large part due to reconfiguring how we merge the differences between .com and the installable (FI/Enterprise). Previously, it was painful and slow and lagged embarrassingly behi

Notably: - Enterprise is delivered in an OVF, which means it's a fully contained VM. This simplifies deployments astronomically from the previous FI architecture. - We've spent a lot of time on the runtime and packaging of Enterprise in rel

One of the greatest benefits of using my Mustache style ERB approach — there's absolutely no blockers. You can use any crazy ruby you so desire, but at the same time, you can also build clean, documented mustache-style views. I'm hesitant t

Yes, please use the interface. Again, you're describing solutions that already exist. This version of the navigation has the least amount of chrome out of any of them, less buttons, less navigation all around.

Have you guys used the new interface? It sounds like you're coming up with imaginary solutions that are already deployed. The nav does shrink up on many pages, and every single update we've pushed out over the past 2 years has brought the a

What limitation does this get you around? Private repositories do cost more if you use more private repos, but creating another account doesn't get you anything. Look at our plans — it would actually cost more to use multiple accounts to

Look at the numbers for uninformed. Really what that survey showed is that the voters were uninformed about their choices. As a rational human, I look at that data and conclude that the survey was inconclusive.

It's deploying a branch to production. If you think about it, this is completely the example of "master is production-ready" idea. We care so much about keeping master deployable, that if we have code that may have issues and need to be rol

Xcode tracks files with an XML "project file." So if you add files in one branch and remove files in another branch, it often puts this project file into a conflicted state. Resolving conflicts in this file is really difficult — lots of c
