We've never discussed that publicly. That said, I did just retire to a private island I bought, where I'm writing this comment on a gold-plated keyboard.

You'll have to ask PG & co. for specific reasons, but among the ones I remember being told, having to deal with slow and tyrannical phone carriers and/or with restaurants, which tend to be far from cutting edge when it comes to picking

Hi, everybody! (Hi, Doctor Nick) We didn't have comments on reddit until mid Dec. 2005 (site launched June of that year) so our 'holy shit this might actually work moment' actually came over that YC summer based on submissions. For the firs

This is 24hrs too late, but I must comment that I've been consistently impressed with Randall's commitment to his readers. We were at one event on the book tour, the Silicon Valley stop at Anybots, until at least 2am so that he could have

I'm very excited about this. Chris Anderson asked for an intro to moot (who I only barely know through ROFLCon[1]) earlier this year; when he said it was to have him speak at TED, I was floored. The thought, "Chris Anderson reads 4chan?! Ma

w00t! Did you breakdance thru Microsoft with it on, tho? That's a pretty great bouncer trick - I'll have to try it sometime. See, reddit will open doors for you... maybe it's become a geekier Illuminati?

This is something we still need to improve. Too few visitors to reddit understand or even know about how this vast network of user-created reddits should work. See, here I go wanting to mock a new redesign up in photoshop...
