Just out of curiosity, do you mind sharing some info about your circumstances? - what kind of job? - which country / state / etc? - what hobbies, especially sports do you have? - what exactly is the problem with your old schedule?

You might want to check out - mindfulness - meditation Those can help tackling anxiety in general and also being more conscious about the choices you make (like spending time on stuff you'd "regret" afterwards)

This is me. Made some money myself, made a lot for bigco's, and constantly feeling that literally anyone else is better at writing software, actual programs than I am. Also see: imposter syndrome :-)

Hmm... I thought the 9-5, office work, working for other people/businesses are the modern inventions and for tens of thousands of years mankind spent 80%+ of the day with their offsprings/families/villages. It's interest

To my mental health what contributed most is to volunteer at a NON-TECH position. YMMV I was on a SE-Asia trip when I fell in love with a small town here; my organize trip was so bad I decided to abandon it. Found out there is a half-pruvat

Many of the comments here insist on housing prices. I'm a Zurich local for the 7th year and would like to put this into perspective. Sharing a flat here is something many younger single people do, but even for the older generation is n

Of all the interviews I've been to, I felt the most uncomfortable at Google. I was surprised how obvious it was that many Googlers are stuck-up, full of themselves, not just the aforementioned person. Just because, they are Googlers. D

Off: Hungarian here. It's quite easy for us to hold a low Erdős number (mine is 4 I think), but interestingly the majority of Hungarians have no idea who he was and why hos work was significant. That's a pity.
